Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets are a professional ice hockey team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They are a member of the Central Division of the Western Conference in the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was originally established in 1972 as part of the World Hockey Association (WHA) and joined the NHL in 1979 after the WHA-NHL merger. The Jets were relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1996 and became the Arizona Coyotes. In 2011, an NHL franchise was returned to Winnipeg, and the team was named the Winnipeg Jets in honor of the original franchise. The Jets play their home games at the Canada Life Centre. The team's colors are navy blue, light blue, and white, and they are known for their passionate fan base and competitive performances in the league.
