Microrobotics
Microrobotics is a field of robotics that deals with the design, construction, and application of robots at a very small scale, typically measuring in the micrometer range (one-millionth of a meter). This area of technology focuses on creating miniature robotic systems that can perform tasks not feasible for larger robots, such as precision manipulation, targeted drug delivery, and environmental monitoring. Microrobots can be used in various applications, including biomedical fields for surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments, as well as in industrial processes to handle materials at a microscopic level. The challenges in microrobotics involve navigating complex environments, controlling movements at small scales, and integrating sensors and actuators effectively within limited space and resources.
